Echo's revolutionary capabilities promise to significantly reduce the complexity and cost of volumetric capture, paving the way toward real-time, immersive sports broadcasts.
Echo is trained exclusively on Skyrim.AI’s proprietary dataset, comprising over 5 million parameters generated from more than 58,000 sports-focused captures. Designed to address real-world broadcasting challenges across multiple sports—including soccer, baseball, tennis, and basketball—Echo reduces required camera infrastructure by up to two-thirds, dramatically streamlining production workflows while maintaining exceptional visual quality.
The launch of Echo introduces the third generation of volumetric video technology, termed Spatial Media, marking a fundamental evolution beyond traditional meshes, point clouds, and incremental advancements.
